Prominent Law Partner Admits to Heinous Sex Crimes

A former partner at an international law firm based in New York was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison after he admitted to sexually molesting a young boy whom he had arranged to be transported from France to Belgium. So reports the Bergen County Record.

An Assistant U.S. Attorney told the judge who handed down the sentence that the lawyer—who is said to have conducted himself as a compassionate, charitable person in some areas of his life—paid money to the boy’s adoptive parents, who had been sexually abusing the boy ever since they purchased him from Russia as an infant for $8,000.
