Judge in ‘Joker’ Holmes Case Upholds ‘Extreme Indifference’ Law

The judge who will be hearing the case against the man accused of killing a dozen people in a Colorado movie theater last July denied the defense lawyers' motion to overturn a law making it a crime to commit murder with extreme indifference.

 

So reports the Associated Press.

 

The motion had argued that the law was unconstitutionally vague. The accused, James Holmes, is charged with 12 counts of murder with extreme indifference and 12 counts of murder with deliberation. His trial is set to begin in February. Read the full article from the Associated Press here.
