Death Row Inmate Forms Real Bond with Attorney

New York attorney David Kochman is representing William Ernest Kuenzel and hoping to get him off death row by arguing “actual innocence” in an Atmore, Alabama murder case that is decades old.

According to a New York Law Journal story, the lawyer, working pro bono, has grown to be close friends with his client and believes he was not given a fair trial when first found guilty of the capital crime.
