'League of Legends' Maker to Settle 1000-employee Gender Discrimination Suit

Riot, the maker of League of Legends, is set to pay $10 million to a class of female employees to settle allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment and unequal pay. So reports Ars Technica.

The proposal, if approved, calls for about 1,000 female employees who worked at the company at any point from November 2014 on to split $6.2 million. Remediation efforts were made prior to the lawsuit, including a revised hiring process and the creation of an anonymous intake hotline so employees can report instances of discrimination.
