Student Sues JUUL Over Stroke

Maxwell Berger, a college-age student, is suing JUUL Labs after claiming its e-cigarettes caused him to have a stroke. So reports Reuters.

Berger said he “suffered a hemorrhagic stroke two years after becoming addicted to JUUL's e-cigarettes.” He is claiming the company wrongfully marketed, promoted and sold, among other things, the product that contributed to his “catastrophic injuries.” Now, Berger lives with his parents in Connecticut and his attorneys say he is incapable or performing basic day-to-day activities without “full-time care.”
