'It' Miniseries Producers Take Warner Bros. to Court Over Film

A Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit claims two executive producers of the first “It” adaptation were denied the ability to participate in the most recent iteration of the Steven King novel. So reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Frank Konigsberg and Larry Sanitsky said they are entitled to engage in negotiations for any "sequel, series, remake, or spinoff" and are entitled to at least 10% of the net profits of said production. The plaintiffs are being represented by Dale Kinsella, who is also representing a producer making a similar claim with respect to Hobbs & Shaw, a Fast and Furious spinoff.
