Former William Jewell Student Sues School, Alleges Threats

An unnamed former William Jewell student filed suit against the college for allegedly threatening to expel her if she went public with allegations she was raped by a player on the football team. So reports Newsweek.

The lawsuit seeks $75,000 in damages and lawyer’s fees. According to the lawsuit, the Missouri school also knew the player had a history of sexual misconduct and, as such, failed to protect female students.
