Man Uses Bios Ripped from Cravath, Swaine & Moore to Dupe Clients

John Lambert, of Tennessee, was arrested for misleading clients and was said to have used parts of Cravath, Swaine & Moore’s website to trick those looking for representation. So reports The New York Law Journal.

Lambert allegedly copied biographical information from the New York City law firm’s website to dupe businesses and consumers out of $16,000. He was charged with conspiracy and wire fraud. Among his alleged victims are a skincare company, printing company and IT consulting company.
