Class-action Suit Claims Poland Spring Water Not from a Spring

A lawsuit contends that Nestlé Waters’ Poland Spring brand is falsely represented as “100% Natural Spring Water.” So reports The New York Times.

A class-action lawsuit states the marketing of the product is a “colossal fraud” on its consumers. According to the claims, the water is illegally mislabeled and actually “common groundwater.” The company said an independent investigation confirmed it is, in fact, actually spring water per FDA requirements.
