Trump Takes to Twitter to Lambaste Cohen, Deny Wrongdoing

President Donald Trump denied wrongdoing as his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for tax fraud and other charges. So reports Politico.

Trump said Cohen only pleaded guilty to campaign finance law violations to get a reduced sentence and to “embarrass” the presidency. Cohen pleaded guilty to charges stemming from making “hush money” payments to women who claim to have had affairs with Trump. Trump, however, says those payments were not related to the election.
