Wilkes-Barre Lawsuit Alleges K-9 Handler Not Trained Properly

Officer Anthony Falcone, a Wilkes-Barre police officer, joined a federal lawsuit over the city’s alleged mismanagement of a K-9 said to have bitten multiple people, including three cops. So reports the Citizens’ Voice.

The lawsuit alleges Officer Joseph Homza was not properly equipped to handle Chase, a K-9 officer, placing citizens in an “unreasonable risk of harm.” Falcone is seeking damages “in excess of $150,000."
