Woman Takes Aim At Ginger Ale's Alleged Lack of Ginger

Julie Fletcher, from New York, filed a lawsuit against ginger ale maker Canada Dry, claiming the beverage falsely advertised the amount of ginger it contains. So reports USA Today.

The lawsuit also names Canada Dry's parent company, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Inc. Fletcher contends the drink "is not made from real ginger."

Similar lawsuits have been filed in Massachusetts and California. Fletcher reported feeling duped about the product and its apparent health benefits.
