NLRB Tosses McDonald's Settlement, Advocate Lauds Chucking 'Sham' Deal

McDonald's attempt to settle a dispute with fired employees who claim they were targeted for supporting higher wages and union rights failed as a National Labor Relations Board judge was unmoved by its argument. So reports Bloomberg.

The rejection can be appealed to members of the National Labor Relations Board. Mary Joyce Carlson, an attorney advocating for higher wages for fast food employees, said the decision confirms her suspicion the proposed settlement as a "sham." The National Labor Relations Board did not comment on the decision.
