Louisiana Senate Moves Anti-bestiality Measure to House

The Louisiana State Senate approved a bill outlawing bestiality after a 25-10 vote. So reports WWL.

A law prohibiting "crimes against nature," and also outlawing "sodomy" was found unconstitutional prior to the new bestiality legislation. This bill would give law enforcement a tool to arrest those who have sex with animals.

The measure, which explicitly specifies anal intercourse between humans, is not a crime and will head to the state's House of Representatives.
