Amended Stormy Daniels' suit against Trump attorney alleges defamation, election law violation

Adult film actress Stormy Daniels is seeking a jury trial after claiming President Donald Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, defamed her. So reports National Public Radio.

Daniel's took issue with Cohen's statement regarding a $130,000 payment made to her indicating she lied about a sexual encounter between her and the president. Daniels' lawsuit claims she has suffered "hatred, contempt, ridicule, and shame." The amended lawsuit also states Cohen's payment was in violation of election law, as it was an in-kind contribution never reported and exceeding federal limits.
