Nation’s Strictest Abortion Law Unconstitutional: Opponents

Mississippi's Republican Gov. Phil Bryant signed the county’s strictest abortion restrictions into law, banning nearly all abortions after 15 weeks. So reports ABC News.

The only exception to the ban is if the fetus will not be able to survive outside the womb or if the mother’s well-being is threatened by the pregnancy. Opponents of the law claim it is unconstitutional because it is very hard for a fetus to survive outside the womb at 15 weeks.
