Lawyer Headed to Jail After Using Firm's Database to Make Trades

Walter “Chet” Little of Florida was sentenced to two years and three months in prison after being charged with insider trading. So reports Reuters.

Little allegedly used his firm’s database to improperly obtain information about companies, including Oshkosh Corp and Harley-Davidson Inc., ahead of public announcements in order to make trading decisions.

As a result of pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit insider trading, Little agreed to forfeit $450,000 in spoils from the purported scheme.
