Mozilla, Vimeo Spearhead Challenge to Net Neutrality Repeal

Vimeo Inc. and Mozilla Corp. filed legal challenges to the recent repeal of net neutrality regulations. So reports Time.

Those opposing the repeal claim startups and other small companies lack the ability to pay broadband providers commensurate fees that larger companies can weather with relative ease.

The Federal Communications Commission repealed net neutrality rules in December. A review of the new rules will precede any changes to how the internet is policed and there is no exact date on when the new regulations will take effect.
