Family of Late Slipknot Bassist Secures Overdose Settlement

The family of the late Paul Gray, former bassist for the rock band Slipknot, won an undisclosed settlement from pain relief specialist Dr. Daniel Baldi and his employers after Gray overdosed on drugs. So reports Rolling Stone.

The family filed the suit on behalf of Gray’s daughter born just months after the rocker overdosed on Fentanyl, morphine and other drugs in 2010. Baldi, who was charged and acquitted of involuntary manslaughter, denied fault and his lawyer said he did not prescribe the drugs leading to Gray’s death.
