Philando Castile’s Girlfriend Reaches Settlement with City Over Police Shooting

The St. Anthony City Council in Minnesota voted to pay $675,000 to Diamond Reynolds and her daughter after her boyfriend Philando Castile was fatally shot during a police stop. So reports NBC News.

Reynolds, who was in the car along with her daughter when Castile was shot, will also get $125,000 from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust and the city of Roseville. The settlement resolves Reynolds claims of emotional distress and false arrest.

Castile's mother, Valerie, also received a $3 million settlement from the city of St. Anthony.
