Fyre Festival Founder Seeks Deal After Bahamian ‘Disaster’  

Billy McFarland, the founder of the controversial Bahamian Fyre Festival, is seeking a plea deal after being accused of duping two investors out of $1.2 million. So reports The New York Daily News.

Allegedly, McFarland gave the investors "inflated revenue projections." Attendees of the festival reportedly paid between $5,000 and $250,000 for tickets to the festival, but were disappointed by a lack of food, accommodations, working bathrooms and musical guests.

McFarland, who was co-running the event with music artist Ja Rule, faces multiple lawsuits including a $100 million federal suit.
