O.J. Parole Hearing Could Set Him Free on Oct. 1

Ex-NFL star O.J. Simpson has a parole hearing on July 20 to determine if he will be released from prison in October. So reports WHEC 10, an NBC affiliate.

Simpson’s hearing will take place in Nevada in front of four parole commissioners. He is serving a 9-to-33 year sentence for kidnapping and armed robbery.

Simpson was acquitted of murder in a high-profile 1995 case, but was found guilty of “orchestrating” a confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas casino hotel. Simpson was found guilty in 2008 for the 2007 incident.
