Grand Jury Indicts Killer of Ex-NFL Player Joe McKnight

Ronald Gasser Jr. was charged with second degree murder by a grand jury after the fatal shooting of former football player Joe McKnight. So reports The New York Times.

Gasser faces life in prison with no parole if convicted. Supporters and McKnight’s former teammates expressed discontent after Gasser was initially freed following the shooting. He was not arrested until four days later and eventually charged with manslaughter. McKnight and Gasser were allegedly engaged in a road rage incident prior to the shooting.
