FBI: Man Used Naked Pics as Leverage in Fraud Dating Site Scam

John Edward Taylor, arrested in Pennsylvania, was charged with wire fraud, bank fraud, aggravated identity theft and threatening interstate communications for allegedly scamming women out thousands of dollars. So reports NBC New York.

Authorities said he threatened to send naked photos of his alleged victims to their coworkers if they didn’t shell out big bucks. Taylor claimed he was a “billionaire and an oil tycoon” on dating sites and was said to have ripped off about 15 women of up to $360,000.

Law enforcement said Taylor operated over the course of five years, was arrested in a Yardley country club and faces charges in New York.
