Aaron Hernandez Seeks to Block Texts, Tattoos as Evidence in Double Murder Trial

Attorneys for former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez argued his tattoos and certain text messages should not be used against him in his upcoming February double murder trial. So reports The New York Daily News.

Hernandez is currently serving a life sentence for killing Odin Lloyd in 2013. In the current case, Hernandez is charged with the murder of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado. Hernandez lawyers argued the text messages are shielded by attorney-client privilege and the tattoos are irrelevant. The judge did not rule on the defense’s requests.
