Admissible: Bill Cosby's Prior Testimony About Drugging Woman Before Sex

Testimony that Bill Cosby gave in a separate lawsuit admitting that he drugged women before sex can be used in his current sexual assault trial. So reports the Associated Press.

The defense contested Cosby only testified after an assurance he would never be charged with respect to a 2004 encounter with Andrea Constand, his accuser, although there is no written immunity agreement. Prosecutors said Constand was “semiconscious” after Cosby gave her three unmarked blue pills “for stress.”

Cosby admitted during testimony to digital penetration while on his couch. One other key pretrial issue not yet resolved is the number of witnesses that will be called against Cosby in order to establish a pattern.
