Aspiring Vermont House Representative Charged in Revenge Porn Case

Pat Liebrecht, running for a seat in the Vermont House of Representatives, was charged for engaging in "revenge porn" after allegedly posting “revealing” pictures of an ex-girlfriend sans her consent. So reports WNYT, an NBC affiliate.

Police said he posted explicit photos of the woman after she broke up with him. Liebrecht, who is running to represent the Chittenden 9-1 district in Colchester, faces the charges after Vermont made it illegal last year to share explicit images without consent. Liebrecht pleaded not guilty.
