Leonardo DiCaprio Cooperating in Malaysian Embezzlement Investigation

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly fully cooperating with federal investigators regarding whether or not his movie, The Wolf of Wall Street, was funded in any way with laundered money, or if his environmental charity took donations of embezzled funds. So reports People.

Reports tied donations received by the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to individuals under investigation for alleged involvement in a case where approximately $3 billion disappeared from a Malaysian government fund. There are also questions regarding the financing of the 2013 film.

DiCaprio has been urged to return any money he received from parties under investigation and he indicated through a statement he would be willing.
