Cosby’s Wife to Be Deposed, But Excepted From Some Questions

Camille Cosby may be deposed in the defamation suit filed against her husband by women who say he drugged and sexually assaulted them. However, she might be permitted to refuse to answer certain questions because of the marital disqualification rule. So reports People.

A federal district court judge refused to quash Camille Cosby’s deposition subpoena and would not issue a formal protective order. Camille may, however,refuse to answer questions that fall within the protection afforded to marital communications. The deposition is currently scheduled in Springfield, Massachusetts, on Feb. 22.
