R. Kelly’s ex-lawyer, Ed Genson, said the recording artist was “guilty as hell” when defending him on child-porn charges years ago. So reports USA Today.

Genson said he is dying from cancer. The attorney may be in violation of ethics rules as “attorney-client privilege is sacrosanct and permanent unless the client lifts it,” according to the article.

R. Kelly faces 10 aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges for alleged acts against four women, three who were reportedly underage during the acts.
